There was also a lodger Charles Stickland a widower aged 51 born Warmwell, Dorset.

The 1891 Census of Portland, Dorset shows Arthur, 42 still a Stonemason, born Upwey, Dorset and Annie 40, born Broadwey Dorset living at 23 King Street, Portland, Dorset. There were two children mentioned, Ada 11 and Reginald 5.
